Fresh Green Akiu onsen Rairaikyo Gorge | Sendai, Miyagi Japan
The Rairaikyo Gorge, formed by the erosion of the Natori River flowing through the Taihaku Ward, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture tohoku japan, is a canyon about 1km located near the entrance of Akiu Onsenkyo(Hot spring town). Along the canyon, there are walkways, and you can enjoy the beautiful Akiu-ishi rock surface that has been produced in this area from the past and the beautiful natural landscape of fresh greenery. It has also been selected as one of the “100 Best Verdure Landmarks in the City of Sendai, Sendai,” which solicited Green spots that are popular with Sendai citizens from May to June 2000.
