Tohoku’s Christmas Lights of Kodanarie 2017
“2017 Kodanarie” is an illumination event held from December 10, 2017 to January 13, 2018 at Kodaira rural Park, Yamamoto-cho, Miyagi Prefecture Japan.
The beautiful illuminations of about 250,000 balls, which were handmade by the local people with the idea of “making visitors smile,” fantastically colored the winter of Tohoku, the sixth year since the Great East Japan Earthquake.
