The aircraft appears to have been a technical landing en route to Papua New Guinea from a Bombardier factory in Canada.
New Guinea Airlines delivery flights may select Sendai Airport as a waypoint.
There is a flight once every few years, but it was the first time I saw it.
This aircraft has been operated by Scandinavian Airlines in the past, so it seems that it was not a new aircraft.
