“Abukuma Caves” is a limestone cave located in Takine-machi, Tamura-gun, Fukushima Prefecture, which is said to have been created naturally over the years from about 80 million years ago. Here, you can see the beautiful scenery created by stalactites, which are said to be the best in the Orient in terms of type and number.
The total length of Abukuma Caves is about 3300m, of which 600m is open for general tours, and the 120m-long “exploration course” that branches off from general tours is open to the public for sightseeing.
Everyone who visits the mystery and the beauty of nature that cannot be seen in everyday life will be fascinated.
