【4K】Onagawa Port Fireworks Festival 2022
This is a video of the Onagawa Minato Matsuri Maritime Fireworks Festival (Onagawa port Fireworks festival) held at Onagawa Port in Onagawa-cho, Oshika-gun, Miyagi Prefecture Japan on July 24, 2022.
Due to the damage caused by the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, the Onagawa Minato Festival has not been held since 2011.
However, the festival was held for the first time in 12 years due to the restoration work around Onagawa Port and the construction of the Onagawa Town Coastal Square.
After the earthquake, the scenery of the city changed completely due to the new town development that also served as a tsunami countermeasure, but I felt that the area around the rock wall of Onagawa Port still retains the nostalgia of those days.
The Wakamatsu Fireworks Manufacturering in Osaki City and Haga Fireworks in Sendai City were in charge of launching the fireworks that decorate the finale of the festival.
In addition to star mine and underwater fireworks, 4000 fireworks such as a pyro musical that synchronizes music and fireworks under computer control were launched.
