Cute Animal Park・Kitsune mura | Fox Village in Zao
Miyagi Zao Fox Village, located in Shiroishi City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan, is a fox zoo where cute foxes such as red foxes, arctic foxes, foxes, horned foxes, platinum foxes, and cross foxes are bred.
Rather than a zoo of foxes, it may be correct to think that humans go into cages and follow the rules of where wild foxes live.
It feels a bit difficult, but the staff from the fox village, familiar with fox ecology, will carefully explain the rules when you enter, and it’s okay if you follow them.
A fox from Miyagi Zao Fox Village appeared in the Japanese movie Helen the Baby Fox released in 2006 and came into the spotlight.
This is a moving story about protecting and raising foxes who have lost their sight, hearing, and smell.
