Iwate Snow Festival and fantasy fireworks held at Koiwai Farm , known as a tourist attraction in Shizukuishi town, Iwate Prefecture Tohoku Japan in February 2013.
The Iwate Snow Festival, held in February every year, is an event that features highlights such as heavy snow statues made of abundant snow falling in north Tohoku and ice sculptures.
At night, a fantastic light-up and a fireworks display are also held.
During the event period, there is also a Kamakura Jingisukan where you can enjoy Japanese mutton and vegetable dish in the snow igloo and a huge slide where you can enjoy sledging.
It is a popular event that has been established as a winter feature that can be enjoyed by adults and children.
