This is a video of the Oishida Festival Mogamigawa Fireworks Show held in Oishida Town, Yamagata Prefecture Japan on August 17, 2018. The Oishida Festival is a festival that has been held to celebrate the completion of the “Ohashi” bridge over the Mogami River that flows through Oishida Town, and has a history of more than 90 years.
“Adult portable shrines” by young people who have reached adulthood in that year and portable shrines by a portable shrine group are held. At night, about 3000 large fireworks such as the 12 inch shells fireworks and creation fireworks display will be launched at the Mogami River.
At the end of the fireworks display, 24 inch shells fireworks 20 shots that explode to a size of 450 meters in diameter will be launched in a row.
