Ginzan Onsen, located in Obanazawa City, Yamagata Prefecture Japan, is a hot spring town where you can enjoy the nostalgic townscape and beautiful scenery that changes with the four seasons, just like the Ghibli movie “Spirited Away”. The lineup of hot spring inns built from the Taisho era to the early Showa era invites you to a fantastic world reminiscent of the good old days that everyone living today has never seen. It seems that the Taisho era is beginning to be in the limelight again with the hit of the popular anime “Kimetsu no Yaiba(demon slayer)” whose era is set in the Taisho era, but this is a dream-like tourist attraction where you can feel the atmosphere of the Taisho Roman. In addition to accommodation facilities, there are restaurants and souvenir shops where you can taste Obanazawa’s special products, as well as facilities where you can take a day trip bath, so you can enjoy it without having to stay overnight.
