This is the Japanese Steam Locomotive SL C57 180 SL Banetsu monogatari running on the Banetsu Saisen Line. The steam locomotive, SL C 57-180, which was born in the summer of 1945, was kept quiet at the Niigata City Niitsu Elementary School since the fall of Showa 44 which is a retired year. After that, SL C57 180 was restored by JR East and revived as the SL Banetsu monogatari on April 29, 1999 and operates between Niitsu Station and Aizuwakamatsu station on Banetsusaisen line in Japan.
