This is a video of the Yamagata Scream Fireworks from the Akagawa Fireworks Festival, held on the banks of the Akagawa River in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture Japan in 2009. The Yamagata Scream Fireworks, which were set off to the tune of Superfly’s “Hanky Panky,” was a special program held to commemorate the release of Yamagata Scream, a film directed by Naoto Takenaka and set in Yamagata.
