SENDAI PAGEANT OF STARLIGHT 2011
This is the 26th SENDAI pageant of starlight held at Jozenji-dori Street in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan from December 2, 2011 to December 31, 2011.
Due to the tsunami of the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, illumination of LED bulbs stored in a warehouse in Gamo, Miyagino-ku became unusable.It was said that it was impossible to hold this year.
For all those who have suffered unprecedented damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake, new illuminations of 400,000 bulbs and 60,000 bulbs supported by the Omotesando Illumination Executive Committee have been implemented in 2011.
