Shiroishi River Cherry Blossom & Light Up in the Night

Hitome Senbonzakura, a bank of the Shiroishi River in Miyagi Prefecture, is a famous place for cherry blossoms with a total length of about 8 km that extends along the bank of the Shiroishi River that flows through Ogawara Town, Shibata District, Miyagi Prefecture Japan, to the neighboring Shibata Town.
One-third of the approximately 1,200 cherry blossom tunnels are over 80 years old, and you can enjoy the scenery of flowers such as Yoshino cherry tree, wild cherry tree, and Somei Yoshino cherry tree.
At the same time, the Ogawara Sakura Festival will be held, and the fantastic and very beautiful night cherry blossoms will be lit up at night during the period.
